Delete your ScanFood account

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data in the ScanFood — Calorie counter and Food scanner app (published by ScanFood).

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the ScanFood app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email us at appscanfood.com@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will process your request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

• Your account (email address, name, profile details such as weight, height and goals)
• Your food diary, scans and photos
• Your progress and statistics

All of the above is permanently deleted. Anonymous crash and analytics data that is not linked to your account may be retained. Server backups are rotated automatically and expire within a limited retention period.
